Joy Villa arrives for the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards on January 26, 2020 in Los Angeles.
Arrivals for the 2020 Grammy Awards are underway, and politics have hit the red carpet -- as have some familiar faces who are familiarWith the election now less than 10 months away and Donald Trump's impeachment a constant in the headlines, it's no surprise that current political turmoil is on the minds of many of tonights' attendees.
Some, such as actress Megan Pormer, literally wore their activism on their sleeve: "NO WAR WITH IRAN" was emblazoned on her dress, and her cape fused the colors of the American and Iranian flags together. On the other end of the political spectrum, Joy Villa and Ricky Rebel expressed their pro-Trump politics with their awards show looks. Both have become red carpet personalities for doing exactly this, and the 2020 Grammys was no exception: Ricky Rebel opted to scrawl "IMPEACH THIS" on his exposed butt cheeks, and Villa added to her collection of gowns that work "TRUMP" in bold lettering and a predictable red, white and blue palette into her aesthetic.
Stay tuned for Billboard.com's complete coverage of the 2020 Grammys, including our live Grammys pre-show that begins on Sunday at 5:30PM ET.
