Police searching for suspect in Denver homicide

DENVER — A suspect has been identified in connection with the fatal shooting of a man this month in east Denver, police said on Monday.The Denver Police Department said on Monday that they are looking for 36-year-old Antonio Cardenas in connection with the shooting.Metro Denver Crime Stoppers works by assigning a code to people who anonymously submit a tip. Information is shared with law enforcement, and Crime Stoppers is notified at the conclusion of the investigation.

From there, an awards committee reviews the information provided and, if the information leads to an arrest, the tipster will be notified.
