Homeless Pennsylvania man faces 7 years for allegedly underpaying for Mountain Dew by 43 centsA Pennsylvania man was jailed last month and charged with a felony after allegedly underpaying for a bottle of Mountain Dew soda by 43 cents, a penalty due largely in part to the state's three-strikes law. Hope a good lawyer sees this as cruel & unusual punishment and sues the pants off the jurisdiction. If he does get 7 years what value does the city hold on his life less than a penny a month. He’d got less time if he tried to overthrow the government.
