Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC May Have TWO Legends: Arceus Descendants

Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT The upcoming DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet could introduce two descendants of characters from Legends: Arceus. Most of the characters met in Hisui are clearly based on other characters from the Pokémon franchise. Moreover, at least one of the former exceptions to this rule will now have a new descendant character introduced in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero when the DLC is released later this year.

Perrin Could be Joined By A Descendant Of Irida In Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's DLC With Adaman having gained a new descendant in Perrin, it seems only natural for Pearl Clan leader Irida to gain a new family member as well. Adaman and Irida are distinctive counterparts to each other, and major characters in Legends: Arceus. Despite this, neither had a clear descendant, their designs being wholly original.

A Relative Of Irida May Not Be Introduced Until The Indigo Disk DLC However, any counterpart of Perrin may still take some time to be introduced. The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk are clearly designed to be complementary, with each half of Scarlet and Violet’s DLC’s new Pokémon and themes contrasting the other. Similarly, the Diamond and Pearl Clans are clearly inspired by the games of the same name, and their respective leaders often clash.

Considering all the ancestor characters in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the fact that Adaman and Irida had no modern-day relatives was striking. Now, Perrin’s reveal has not only demonstrated that this is changing but also hints toward another new character. A male descendant of Irida would be a perfect complement to Perrin, although such a character’s actual gender may naturally vary.
