I might have asked why these “raises” are at the sole discretion of the agency. Even if you’ve done exemplary work for 20 years, your agency can just say, “Y’all aren’t getting raises. Deal with it.” Seems counter productive to everything SEC2 was meant to do. 🤷🏼♂️
Why should state employees get raises when private businesses can’t give their employees raises due to the regulatory & tax increases by the federal government! In the present business climate many businesses will fail which will reduce the tax base, austerity is needed!
