Cool and wet weather prevailed today as chillier air wedged up against the Appalachians refused to budge. Following afternoon rain and rumbles, we’re in a bit of a lull in rain heading into evening, but more is on the way. It might fall heavy enough to cause some isolated flooding through tomorrow.
It should stay relatively rain-free into the evening, but it continues to feel on the damp side, and temperatures may still climb a bit. A round or two of showers and rumbles seems likely, the first as soon as later evening, with lows near 50. Fog and drizzle could become widespread at times.Rain and storms, yet again. It won’t rain all the time, but some can be heavy with the potential for flooding and isolated strong to severe storms, especially in the afternoon and south of the city.
