PM Update: More heat records set; thunderstorm chances rising tonight

Storm chances are slowly rising, with activity more likely to develop this evening and overnight — that’s when it might be a bit more widespread. Any storms that develop could produce damaging wind gusts over 57 mph. Tomorrow stays away from records , with near-average high temperatures forecast.
