It’s getting awfully close to April, though we’ve had a bunch of snow lately so it still feels very much like the middle of winter rather than the start of spring.
We’re also getting close to the reveal of next month’s PlayStation Plus lineup. You still have time to grab this month’s lineup—which is, with four very different games to choose from—for a few more days. One of this month’s titles—the kung fu action game,has been on my prediction list for ages now and I finally got it right! We’ll see if any of my predictions turn up in April.PS Plus is Sony’s monthly membership program that grants access to online gaming.
Sony reveals the following month’s games on the last Wednesday of the month, though this isn’t always the case. The actual rule of thumb is that the new lineup always releases on the first Tuesday of the month and the games are revealed the previous Wednesday. This means that we should get an announcement for April’s lineup on the morning of Wednesday, March 27th and the new games will become available on Tuesday, April 2nd.So far, we haven’t had any leaks or rumors about April’s PS Plus Essential games. I haven’t been able to dig up any clues, either. There are no games releasing on April 2nd so it’s almost certainly not going to be a new release.
If any leaks do drop between now and Wednesday morning, I’ll update this post. In the meantime, I have my list of predictions, though I admit some of these are wishful thinking. I suppose it’s also possible we’ll get some kind of Simulator or sports game.
