It's Easter weekend, but one group of airplane passengers got an early dose of JC juice while 30,000 feet up in the air and halfway around the world ... with no way to escape.
Check out this video that's making the rounds right now -- it shows a packed flight with a good handful of passengers singing what appear to be Christian songs to the rest of the cabin ... jamming out on a guitar and walking up and down the aisle in high spirits. Sounds perfectly innocent, but when you get a glimpse at how others react ... you can tell some aren't too thrilled about the impromptu performance.There might be some missing context here to fully explain this ... namely, whether this was a plane full of folks from the same church/denomination, or whether these Christ-followers hijacked things and projected their faith onto everyone else without asking. It's unclear.
Again, if everyone onboard was down and consented to this ... no harm, no foul. But, if there was anyone there who might've not shared their faith, this seems to be a bit much.

What these Christians did was wrong. It was an act of trying to force everyone to believe in something that they believed in and that's not only offensive, it's absurd and appealing. This isn't China or North Korea for fuck's sake.

That was absolutely wrong for them to do it, and for the airline crew to allow it to continue. Religion isn't supposed to be a prison, but a freeing experience. No two people believe/feel alike. For what one may feel is joyful, others may feel it a forced prison.

That was inappropriate and should’ve been stopped by staff or even to pilot. Religion should be private and not pushed on anybody else. Personally I believe in reincarnation, we have to work our way up, I don’t push it on anybody else
That would have driven me nuts. I look forward to the hours of quiet on a plane so I can have some peace and read a book. I doubt my noise canceling headphones would have blocked this out. They held the whole plane hostage.
