Tickets are now on sale for this year’s event, which will again run two days, on Wednesday, Aug. 23, and Thursday, Aug. 24, at the Put-in-Bay Airport on the south end of the island.

PUT-IN-BAY, Ohio – Superstars Pitbull and Luke Bryan will headline Bash on the Bay 6, the annual island music festival held on Lake Erie’s Put-in-Bay.

Singer and rapper Pitbull will headline the first show; country star Luke Bryan will headline the second night. Tickets go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. atIt will be the sixth year for the festival, which debuted in 2017 as a way to bring some extra tourism business to the small Ohio island at the end of the summer.

Miami-born Pitbull, who won a 2016 Grammy for his 2016 album “Dale,” certainly fits the bill, with hits including “Fireball,” “Don’t Stop the Party,” “Timber” and others. Southeast Ohio native Elle King, with hits including “Ex’s and Oh’s” and “America’s Sweetheart,” will open for Pitbull. Opening for Bryan will be Brothers Osborne, the 2022 Grammy winner for Best Country Duo / Group Performance. Their hits include “Stay a Little Longer” and “It Ain’t My Fault.”
