The Suns (32-28) are fifth in the West at the NBA All-Star break.

The Phoenix Suns haven’t been able to use that word to describe their team due to a slew of injuries, but they’ll come out of the All-Star break as close to full strength since the season opener.

Kevin Durant wouldn’t say at his introductory press conference Thursday when he’s returning from a right MCL sprain, but all signs point to him making his Suns debut in Phoenix’s first game after the break this Friday at home against Oklahoma City. ESPN switched from showing the Nets-Bulls game to televise the Thunder-Suns game at 8 p.m.

“I’m going to follow the training staff and go on the schedule they got me on,” Durant continued. “So hopefully soon after the break.”

Kevin Durant: Trade Requests 'Great For League'Kevin Durant: Trade Requests 'Great For League' - RealGM Wiretap The way KD behaves, I'm convinced he doesn't understand fandom. He seems a great dude. Dedicated to his craft. Shows up to play. All the things you'd want. Except? He does not understand fandom. Chosing Kyrie? Chosing GSW? Chosing Brooklyn over Knicks? Just doesn't understand. “Great for the league” In other words, 'when the going gets tough, just quit.' Great for the league.
