“We’re disappointed that it had to come to an investigation, but Mr. Ness’ recent sharp increase in keeping the woodwinds coherent and controlling the volume of the timpani did raise some eyebrows. Normally you don’t see that much of a leap in precision unless the baton’s been tampered with to become lighter.
johnrigbymusic 😆
As he should.
hahaha Houston Conductors
It's a cut-throat biz, people.
John Phillip Sosa
This is an extra level of funny when you realize most baton bulbs are made of cork
It was unintentional, that was the baton he uses during warmups just to entertain the fans. He just got mixed up at the actual concert.
No surprise, the music was composed by John Philip Sosa.
While he shouldn't have cheated, but he is coming off Leonard Bernstein surgery, so looks like he was just trying to get back on the rostrum as quickly as possible.
This is the same conductor that got caught up in the doping scandal of 2019
At least he'll be back for the playoffs, if they can make it. Should be well rested
never misses!!!!
