Philadelphia protesters take to the streets for second night after police fatally shot a Black man with a knife

While one group marched peacefully on Tuesday evening, chanting Wallace's name and saying,"Whose streets? Our streets," there was trouble in another section of the city. Police tweeted that a large group was looting businesses in a neighborhood.Monday's shooting of 27-year-old Walter Wallace Jr., caught on cell phone video, draws fresh attention to fatal use of force by police following months of protests over how officers treat Black people.

He was walking toward the police with a knife, justified shooting. Any one could in the same situation would have done the same.

How typical, your twisting what really happened. Holding a knife is not the same as coming at somebody with a knife. The second you threaten an officer with a deadly weapon, you put your life at great risk. It’s common sense. This guy got himself shot.

You may want to watch the video. The guy wasn't just 'holding a knife.' That's what a chef does in a kitchen. The guy was chasing the cops around. It's hard to think of a better way to get shot by the police than to pull out a knife and to chase them around.
