2018 Montecito mudslidesThe Animal Shelter Assistance Program in Santa Barbara County says the calico cat named Patches was brought in as a stray last month, and a microchip scan revealed her identity.
Patches had been missing since Jan. 9, 2018, when a rainstorm on the vast burn scar of the Thomas Fire sent a debris-laden torrent crashing down the hillsides of Montecito. , including Patches’ owner, Josie Gower. The devastation of the mudslides was so terrible that the bodies of two victims were never found.The ASAP shelter says Patches was found less than a quarter of a mile from where her Montecito home stood.

The will to live as well as being loved was stronger than the mud slide. I fear this every hurricane season. I barely had a few minutes to move my 5 cats and 1 dog out of danger just before Isais hit.

It has begun. I will not mention the names of these corporations, but they are once again moving their plants out of the country, leaving those worker unemployed. Mine is included. These corp. have been notified that the deal they had are null & void. Thank-you, Democrats.
