So, naturally, if someone calls to say your number has been compromised, you become concerned.

The scammer’s goal is usually to get people to reveal their Social Security number, pay a sum of cash or both. ∗ No, you don’t have to verify your Social Security number. If it were the Social Security Administration calling, they would already have it in their database. As scary as the call may seem, never give your number to anyone who contacts you.

Joyce Ford of Bellevue, Wash., wrote, “I recommend that retirees take the cruises and trips to Europe while in their 60s, which I was fortunate to do. Hiking cobblestone streets in Tuscany at 65 is much easier than trying to do it after total hip replacement or with bad knees. I am now 77 and I am so pleased that I got all my major sightseeing travel out of the way earlier. The 70s hit me with three surgeries and worsening of knee arthritis, so I am now pleased to walk around a grocery store.

How about all the sugar and high fructose corn syrup they put in all our food, not to mention the rise in processed foods. Coachella says it’s safe for LGBTQ people, but transgender siblings say they were denied restroom accessTwo Orange County siblings — one a transgender woman, the other who identifies as transmasculine and presents as male — say they were denied access to restrooms that corresponded to their gender identities at the 2018 festival. The ACLU is demanding change. I haven’t been in a few years but I remember all the restrooms being porta potty’s? Wish LATimes would interview any number of abused women the ACLU has been ignoring for 20 years. 2,000 women killed in the U.S. in 2015, but let’s litigate, bathrooms! Why? Bigger donations from double income gays than women trapped in a patriarchal system. ACLU went for the 💰 Geez.
