occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, when witnesses saw two men arguing in the vicinity of Eldridge Street and Broome Street. The verbal exchange escalated when the suspect stabbed the victim in the chest and slashed him in the arm with an unknown object, police said.
The suspect fled the scene on foot, heading eastbound on Broome Street, before cops from the 5th Precinct arrived. EMS brought the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition.with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a red jacket, tan pants, black sneakers and had a white bag attached to his thigh.
