What’s your point? It’s seniors fault for fake news? They should know but they don’t. The person who initially posted should have fact checked a non common source or known alt-right newsgroup. Many believe it wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t factual. Ppl get mad when you tell them.
Because most aren’t tech savvy. Many can log on and open Facebook & share other posts but beyond that, often not knowledgeable enough to do much more. We didn’t grow up in the age of tech. I know a lot but most my age do not. Aren’t posted in the first place by aged, shared.

GovHowardDean As a Senior I can tell you this is true. More times then I can count I have called out other seniors about spreading fake crap. 99% of them are trump supporters. Don’t have much of a relationship with them anymore. And happier for it.

TerryMoran I believe this, as some of my retired friends send out lots of nonsense via email, too. They grew up trusting that all published news was accurate, so don't understand fake and biased news sites. And the fake news articles have fun headlines.
They are experienced enough to differentiate between fake and truth and it is causing henderence to false propaganda.

Bigots always use a broad brush when painting a group they stereotype. Imagine the outrage should CNN say POC share fake news most?
That's certainly not MY observation. I've got dozens of cousins, not to mention siblings, that range 55 to 75, and every one of them can spot fake news instantly. Some (a few, anyway) are conservative, but they're not stupid.
