Discussions between WarnerMedia, which owns the show, and the MGM-backed premium cable network are under way for a potential third season of the Bruno Heller series.

The Bruno Heller drama about the early days of Batman's butler may wind up being shared between Epix, the MGM-backed premium cable network that has been the show's home for its first two seasons, and HBO Max, the streaming sibling ofwith the streamer getting the first window to season three. Epix would air the third season of the Jack Bannon starrer at a later date.

HBO Max, meanwhile, would bring another DC Comics-inspired drama to its platform. The streamer, which turns a year old this month, has a swelling roster of DC originals coming from mega-producers J.J. Abrams (
