Pennsylvania's top search term ahead of Valentine's Day was found to be 'cheap gifts for boyfriend.'

that looked over Google search data related to the word “cheap,” Yellow Octopus revealed that — although Pennsylvania wasn’t among the country’s stingiest states — one of its most common search terms was “cheap gifts for boyfriend.”

In fact, the search term — whose volume went up by roughly 545 percent since last year — was the number one stingy search in 36 states total, with “cheap gifts for friend” coming in second. City-wise, Pittsburgh came in the number 18 overall spot for the top stingiest locations in the country. Philadelphia, on the other, more giving hand, was found to be the 13th overall mostSo, which state needs to get off its wallet the most? That would be Delaware — who’s number one search term was actually “cheap gifts for girlfriend — followed swiftly by Wyoming in second; Rhode Island in third; North Dakota in fourth; and South Dakota in fifth.
