Pennsylvania is one of the ‘least patriotic’ states in America: study

decided to find out what makes a patriot as the Fourth of July holiday nears. In order to do so, they first took a look at all 50 states across two key dimensions: “Military Engagement” and “Civic Engagement.”

Based on all that, WalletHub found the following to be the top five most patriotic states in the nation : Oregon, North Dakota, Virginia, Montana, and Alaska. Alas, fair reader, this is a different type of study, for Pennsylvania didn’t break the top 10, or 20, or even the top 30. “There are many ways for an individual to demonstrate patriotism,” states Russ Crawford, a history professor at Ohio Northern University. “In the United States, individuals are free to be patriotic in whatever they want. That could be flying the national flag at their house, serving in the military, voting, and taking part in the political life of the nation, but also includes a multitude of other ways.

The last two years broke anyone with a little patriotism.

There are ways to be patriotic than don't involve wrapping oneself in red, white and blue....

Well, the state was founded by Quakers.

It’s funny because they based it on percent of veterans and if you voted in 2020. I’m a veteran and I voted in 2020 and I’d consider myself not patriotic at all.

In Central PA, people think that displaying an American flag next to their Trump flag makes them patriotic. It actually makes them traitors to this country. The people who still have Trump signs on their lawn are everything that’s wrong with this country.

That's weird, cause everywhere I've been to in the state seems pretty patriotic to me. Flags everywhere, even on cars and trucks driving down the roads and highways. I'd love to know who and where this study came from.
