House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she and House impeachment investigators “look forward” to seeing information that would demonstrate President Donald Trump’s innocence

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she and House impeachment investigators “look forward” to seeing any information that would demonstrate President Donald Trump’s innocence.

“That remains,” the California Democrat said in an interview aired Sunday on CBS's “Face the Nation” when asked by host Margaret Brennan whether she had seen any information that clears Trump of any wrongdoing in the Ukraine scandal.“If he has information that is exculpatory ... then we look forward to seeing it,” Pelosi added.

“It is self-evident that we have open hearings for the next week. I don't know if there are any beyond that,” Pelosi said. “Then we're out for Thanksgiving — doesn't mean depositions couldn't be taken during that time. And then, when we come back by then, maybe a decision or maybe they have more hearings.”
