House Democrats are moving rapidly on ambitious plans for a fourth coronavirus relief package, with Speaker Nancy Pelosi eager to put her imprint on legislation that she says could be ready for a vote in the coming weeks.
“They’re approaching it — it seems like — as an opportunity to pass their political and ideological agenda. We’re approaching it as, ‘How do we protect the public health and our economy?’” said Sen. John Cornyn . | Anna Moneymaker/Getty Images That legislation, which President Donald Trump signed on Friday, was largely negotiated by Senate leaders and caused consternation among House Democrats who felt many of their priorities had been ignored. The previous package, Republicans have countered, was crafted almost entirely by Pelosi and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.
In particular, Pelosi signaled to her caucus that infrastructure would likely be part of the “phase 4” package, specifically ticking off priorities like water systems, broadband and the energy grid. Pelosi said the House would likely vote on the package after they return from the Easter and Passover holidays in late April, though there’s always the possibility lawmakers return sooner if Congress is needed to act. Alternatively, if lawmakers are far from a deal, they may“I do think that it is really important that as soon as we are here, we are ready to pass legislation,” Pelosi said.
More to her & let it fly.
She just won’t give up on her plans to use this crisis to ruin the country...she is evil.
That’s the only thing she wants to do, get in front of a mic. The supplies your state is short is a state responsibility. Feds job is to back them up. realDonaldTrump has had to take the lead to get the train back in track. More supplies are coming.
Irrelevant SpeakerPelosi on full damage control mode to appease America and AOC - We can only hope COVID-19 finds her first
Republicans are such push-overs. Get ready for a pork Bill like you've never seen before
realDonaldTrump dnt do it
Never let a crisis go to waste! Pelosi knows its the best bet to get everything the democrats have been trying to push for years but couldn't get it done without having a weapon such as coronavirus to use as a bargaining chip in her favor and then tout bipartisonship. 😂
Don't let her do it. She gave us Obamacare and can't be trusted with anything serious ever again. Even her student loan takeover was a scam. They bitch about the cost of college while the government rakes in billions off of those students.
At least one part of the government is working right! Why the republicans figure out ways to line their pockets!
DenbrotS Include the USPS, SpeakerPelosi.

Her 'imprint'? So expensive means testing and slow insufficent results?
Don't make this about Pelosi. She is trying to HELP us, whatever it takes. Not 'imprint' legislation.
Pelosi wants funding for the Kennedy Center and Green New Deal ... How about funding for large stock piles of medical supplies warehoused in every state to prepare America for the next Pandemic.
Nope
Nancy's wish list - this is the one we say no to.
