Paulina Porizkova, 56, Shares Un-Retouched Selfie to Explain Her Complicated Opinions on Botox

“Ok, let’s talk tweaking for a moment,” she began. “When I post nono fillers hashtags, I get a fair amount of criticism from women assuming I’m somehow being superior.” But those aren’t her intentions, she added, explaining that she merely wants to provide representation for aging women—something that is often hard to find in the mainstream.

She continued: “In our new world of artificial perfection, sometimes it’s impossible to tell what is what, and I’m trying to clarify it for you the way I’d like it clarified for myself.” The star went on to say she in no way judges people who do undergo aesthetic treatments. In her words, they’re “simply seizing their power in any way they see fit.”

Can you do both?” she asked. “I have no idea. I’m trying, but so far, I keep falling into the muddy middle.
