Paul Staehle Went 'Missing' With A 90 Day Fiancé Fan On A Boat In Brazil

Karine further worried her fans by posting an emotional video tribute to Paul alluding that he had died. Paul was found alive and well within a couple of days, and he's now told TMZ that he did not disappear in the Amazon. Paul said that he had been living in Manaus, Brazil, for a while. He recently went on a boat with an unknown person who happens to be a "fan of the reality show" because he wanted to "clear his head.

Fortunately, Paul's companion was able to fix the boat and they resumed their journey. Blogger John Yates had screenshots of the texts that Paul sent his mom Mary. He could be seen telling his mom that he "got lost" and "f***** up bad.

According to Paul, he didn't have a charger on him and the network service on the floating house was bad, which is why he couldn't communicate with his mom. He claimed his family immediately started assuming the worst had happened to him. Paul denied going missing was a publicity stunt. He apparently didn't even want anyone to know about the story. He was "shocked" by his mom's reaction and the stories that came out in the media about his disappearance.

Paul's apparent disappearance had sent 90 Day Fiancé viewers into a frenzy. There were those who believed he was faking going missing for attention. Karine never explained why she made it look like her husband had passed away. The couple split up in December 2021 and got back together at the start of 2023. However, Karine has now implied that Paul has a new romantic interest in Brazil.
