"It was a proud, emotional, like I said to Dr. Forfia, our principal, 'I feel like I just ran a marathon, and I didn't do anything,'" teacher Vinnie Gonzalez said. But he did do something. He's the teacher Isabela Gonzalez said pushed her to apply when she tried backing out.The Garden State teenager, who has a 4.9 GPA, will become the district's 10th student to be accepted to an Ivy League university in 10 years. It's an accomplishment Isabella Gonzalez credits to her mom, a single parent raising three kids.As for her future, Isabela Gonzalez said she wants major in political science and has lofty ambitions.

At another the price tag was $3,000The mom said senior photos cost her $900 at one school last year and 2 to 3 times more at another high school this year. She said it’s not fair and she wants to know why. I paid $200 for an Elite photo session and was never told that I would have to pay extra for photos but when it came time paid $1999 for the usb drive to get all the photos from the session. It is outrageous. The cheapest package was $499 and I could only choose 1 photo $3,000 That’s robbery. Why would anyone pay that? It’s not that hard to put up some lights and take a photo. And yes, I’m a photographer so spare me the lecture about equipment cost. Im struggling just to afford the copyright for 2 so I can print them myself. Its so sad to take advantage knowing how a parent waited for this day.
