Passengers killed in Ethiopian Airlines crash came from 35 countries, airline says

Grief and sorrow know no borders, but Sunday's Ethiopian Airline crash is truly an international tragedy.

The Nairobi, Kenya-bound plane went down within minutes of taking off from Addis Ababa. The crash killed 157 people, seven of them crew members and one a security official, an airline spokeswoman said. The passengers were from 35 nations, the airline said, with the greatest share from Kenya.Nineteen United Nations staff members were among those killed, the UN said.

Never trust an airport from a 3rd world country. They can’t figure out infrastructure even after thousands of years... you know they aren’t properly going to maintain their fleet of jets. When the population uses water bottle flip flops and good will hand-me-downs = Dont fly

Wonderful young woman Sarah Auffret was on this flight. On her way to the UN assembly to discuss plastic pollution in oceans. She had lived all over the world and many mourn her loss.
