This happens more than you would want to know. TSA releases annual data on test run failures at all airports. It’s pretty astonishing how many weapons pass through airports during inspections.

Why would anyone be surprised? The TSA is 'Security Theatre' and nothing more.

I fly every week and this is not about the shut down,its the TSA focused on the wrong things such as too many paper clips, or too many quarters in your bag. Is your tooth paste an 1/8 oz. too big. Why didnt he take off his scarf. Why is there a garage door opener in your bag.
