Partly to mostly cloudy for the eclipse in south-central Pennsylvania

It was clear overnight, now clouds are increasing from the west ahead of a warm front. Look for a mix of sun and high clouds this morning, with temperatures in the low 40s. As the eclipse begins shortly after 2 p.m., we'll see partly to mostly cloudy skies. A stray shower is possible this afternoon, with temperatures in the mid-60s. During max eclipse around 3:21 p.m., temperatures may fall degree or two, and sunlight will be dimmed, but it won't be dark.

Tonight, clouds clear, as the warm front moves north. Lows will be mild, in the mid-40s. Tuesday will feature morning sunshine, then partly sunny skies. Highs will soar to the mid-70s. A stray thundershower is possible toward evening, followed by scattered showers Tuesday night. A few showers will linger Wednesday, as a weak cold front arrives. Highs will be cooler, in the mid-60s.Low pressure will move up the Ohio Valley Thursday, leading to widespread rain.
