The Parish High School Rosettes perform at the end of a playoff game against Bishop Lynch High School at Globe Life Field on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, in Arlington. As a part of the pageantry, aside from cheering their football team, their presence on the field adds an element of excitement and Texas tradition.

Performing in a drill team is a form of art, not a sport, and requires a high level of athleticism and skill through strength training and cardiovascular conditioning. Parish Rosettes Captain Alexa Plumlee performed a high kick during the halftime of a playoff game at Globe Life Field on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022 in Arlington. Plumlee wants to pursue dance in college. She was the runner-up in last years’ Crowd Pleasers Dance competition solo category and hopes to be the champion this year.
