I don’t like this look. It should be rebuilt like it was except for the wood.
Glass roof isn’t bad in itself, if you have a retractable panel for dark setting and steel structure that aims toward traditional (this retro vs future binary pseudo-debate is a symptom of an architecture-ignorant toxic pop culture that has no common sense)
No to architects reimagining their own self serving images.

I think it's a good plan. Respectfully preserving the past that remains intact while equipping the structure for a very long future of service to the community, IMO.
