Drug manufacturing left Puerto Rico and went overseas. Devastating the Puerto Rican, and weakening US nation security. But with all that big Pharma hicked up the prices of its meds and gave away big bloated payouts to their CEOs. 💩 Shitshow

In the past few months, the Chinese government has made plans to mobilize companies to produce medical supplies. Most of them are based on the original automated production line.

In fact, most production factories in China are now automated production lines. A production shop only needs a mechanic to drink tea in an air-conditioned room and watch the monitoring.

This is the walk away message from this pandemic. Even if things can be done ‘cheaper’ by outsourcing things overseas, there are real advantages to keeping key production here in the US. The global supply chain is not as stable as people have sold it to be.

Corporate influence and politicians, what could go wrong?

The move to China by drug manufacturers was done in the name of profit for the companies and stock market. Americans suffer because of that greed.

American companies should be fined for producing products outside of America and importing them. Prices haven't gone down and the sweatshop workers aren't getting those margins.
