Palantir said on Tuesday that it will surpass $1 billion in sales this year and generate $121 million in adjusted operating income.

In its latest filing ahead of going public, Palantir said on Tuesday that revenue will top $1 billion this year.Palantir's direct listing is scheduled for next week.

The company, which develops software for government agencies and large companies, said adjusted operating income will come in at $121 million, for a margin of 11.5%.rather than an IPO. Existing investors can sell up to 20% of their stake to new investors, who now have more financial data to use in assessing the value of the company.

Revenue and operating income guidance for this year mark the middle of the provided range. Operating income excludes stock-based compensation and other costs.
