Padres' Sean Manaea allowed a career-high nine runs in his last start in Detroit

He also has a 5.91 ERA over his last seven starts while Manaea’s walk rate would be the worst of his career if the season ended today.Here is how Manaea has fared against current Twins: As for the Padres, Jake Cronenworth is back in the lineup after a day off on Saturday. He’ll play second and bat third behind Jurickson Profar in the leadoff spot and Manny Machado at third base.

Designated hitter Luke Voit will bat clean-up, followed by first baseman Eric Hosmer, catcher Jorge Alfaro, right fielder Nomar Mazara, shortstop Ha-Seong Kim and center fielder Trent Grisham.
