Padres and Giants might not get two games (or even one) in this weekend; Fernando Tatis Jr. has hit the two hardest balls in MLB this season

Good morning, The Padres might have played their final game of the week last night. And it wasn’t great. You can read about how they didn’t do much offensively outside a pair of solo home runs by Fernando Tatis Jr. and one by Manny Machado and, thus, could not overcome another rough start by Joe Musgrove. My game story focused on Musgrove, and we’ll talk here later about Tatis and the one glaring mistake the Padres made last night.

” Tatis spent the winter working on his body and his batting stance. He looked back on last year as a sort of practice season, as he worked his way back into baseball shape after missing all of 2022 due to injury and an 80-game PED suspension and then had a pair of surgeries in the offseason leading up to 2023. It was just yesterday we talked here about Tatis expecting to be more aggressive on the basepaths this season. Today, let’s look at his new leg kick.
