Pennsylvania Libations now has four locations, including in Philly, and owner/founder Christopher Simmons has added a brewery in Pittsburgh and a distillery and restaurant in Lingonier to his business portfolio.

Add Sweet Rust to that list, “an American take on the Independent Bottling concept that has propelled single-malt Scotch Whisky in the United Kingdom for generations,” according to the bio on the website.

“I guess you could say it’s a little bit easier for me, because I am the manufacturer as well as the retailer. But the thing for me,” he continued, “I wanted to make sure, like Pa.

Sweet Rust is an American take on the Independent Bottling concept that has propelled single malt Scotch Whisky in the United Kingdom for generations. It's headquartered in Lingonier, Westmoreland County. In this case, Pennsylvania Libations is one of those satellite locations, not just for one maufacturer but for multiple produers of wine, beer and distilled products.
