The U.K. is the lone Western country to approve Oxford-AstraZeneca’s Covid-19 vaccine. The shot is playing a pivotal role in the country’s effort to vaccinate residents of nursing homes

More than four million of the most at-risk people in the U.K., almost 8% of the adult population, have been vaccinated with at least one shot of vaccine.

Among them are more than half of the frailest group of all: the 300,000 elderly residents of nursing homes who can’t travel to get a shot. The key to reaching them has been mobile vaccination teams armed with a shot developed by the University of Oxford and AstraZeneca PLC. Together with a network of family doctors and vaccination hubs in sports centers, hotels and cathedrals, this shot has helped the country to stay on track toward a target of vaccinating its 15 million most vulnerable people by mid-February.

That's crazy u let them decay until the flesh peeled back and the skull appears. & then let them decay even more. I like her. Is there a monster in here or are we in the clubhouse. You think it's funny & smart and it definitely isn't from all standpoints. There was every country

Except that we are not on target for mid-February. We are losing ground on this by the day with numbers of vaccinations declining

Whenever judging coverage of AstraZeneca's vaccine, keep in mind it's the low-cost/profit option.

Common asthma drug cuts COVID-19 hospitalization risk, recovery time - Oxford studyA commonly used asthma treatment appears to reduce the need for hospitalizations as well as recovery time for COVID-19 patients if given within seven days of symptoms appearing, researchers at the University of Oxford said on Tuesday. While encouraging news, I would exercise caution here as this was a preliminary trial with only 146 patients meaning in statistical terms confidence levels will be low. Results from the Oxford University study are yet to be published in a peer-reviewed journal. good luck massive news with this one needs a larger study probably but should be tried and publicised now?
