From WSJopinion: Can Pete Buttigieg fix the FAA? Look far enough down the road and you see a failed state in a failed America unless a leader materializes who can mobilize the discussions, decisions and actions, writes Holman Jenkins

Journal Editorial Report: California has water everywhere and nowhere to put it.

Of course such criticism is unrealistic. We should be asking instead whether we’re glad Mayor Pete is on the job to straighten things out. He has yet to excel at federal spin but we should also be looking for something else: whether he will use the opportunity to move forward a stalled reform agenda that is no mystery to anyone and lacks movement only for want of investment of political capital.

opinion Not a chance

opinion He can't tie his shoes!

opinion Pete is definitely a leader. Where have you been!?

opinion Butterhead is not the 'man' for the job

opinion Lolololololololol

opinion The FAA only cares about ZERO crashes of commercial airplanes. That is IT. Small planes and helicopters are death traps, just ignored.

opinion Different face people

opinion Maybe if he takes another few months of 'maternity leave' the problems will sort themselves out right?

opinion He can't fix a flat tire so...

opinion Pete has no qualifications for this job. He was hired because he’s gay. I have nothing against him, except that he has literally zero qualifications for his job.

opinion He could not even fix pot holes in Indiana. He is more worried about finding those racist roads

opinion Based on his performance so far it’s pretty obvious he’s in over his head. He presided over the worse summer travel season in history watching the airline industry that received $50 billion to maintain staff during the pandemic, cancel thousands of flights due to lack of staff.

opinion Parts work fairly well (crash investigation and eventual corrective action) but seems corruption in form of unions and regulatory and media capture (e.g. revolving door executives and Euro-bias) is a threat.

opinion Fair and balanced. YeT another Turd From the man who gave the world Fox and Trump. MURDOCH

opinion If it has taken him nearly 2 years to realize how much of a mess it is, I'd seriously doubt he'll be able to tackle it before his term is up.

The FAA’s Got Big Problems, Funding Is Only One of ThemRepublicans might be hypocrites about “fixing” a broken system, but they’re not wrong about one thing: Pete Buttigieg is a feckless Transportation Secretary. Trump and the GOP cut FAA spending that was going to upgrade the FAA's systems. He is smarter then all of us so this is sort of a rag article beast. But hey be a rag if you really wana Don't forget us, the American public, as part of the problem when a $10 cheaper ticket is the decider between airlines and not service

Fact check: Post falsely claims change in FAA guidelines linked to COVID-19 vaccineThe agency told USA TODAY in an email that they relaxed electrocardiogram parameters because of new information presented by cardiology consultants. Probably true then. After reading your article, which has 2 comments, this is 3. We can all follow the causation chain- covid vax, heart problems, change the standards and blame it on something else. Is Pfizer one of your advertisers? Also this is a bad Ai article and underlining is insulting.
