that in exchange for Democratic support, she wants a two-year budget deal that jacks up discretionary domestic spending. If recent history is any judge, the two will likely dance around each other for a while, then agree to spend and borrow trillions more.on the table, despite a GOP administration: reining in federal spending, whether next year or next decade. What a difference a little power makes.

opinion In 3-2-1 …

opinion 'Despite'? Even the quickest review of our recent history shows the GOP is HORRIBLE on fiscal issues (like most every other issue). If you didn't know that you didn't want to know.

opinion 'WH announced that 2019 fed deficit proj has been revised upward to $1-trillion' In summer of 2015 CBO predicted that 2016 deficit would increase (it did - 34% more than 2015). Also predicted $1 trillion deficits as far as they could see. Under econ policy in effect at the time

opinion It's both the Democrats and the Republicans. Economic crashes do the rest of the damage. 2000 dot . com crash sent us into deep deficits (9/11 added on). 2008-09 financial crash even worse. There is plenty to go around.

opinion Federal spending from both sides of the aisle will one day obliterate the US dollar.

opinion It will be interesting to see what the millions of LIFE LONG republicans who choose not to vote at all last time around will do the next.

opinion BECAUSE THE GOPiglets TOOK THE MONEY AND RAN.

opinion Because they don't want to be called heartless before 2020.

opinion Well because the purse strings are controlled by the House, and guess who controls the House?

opinion Trump eliminated Omaba's debt!

opinion They are waiting for the next Democratic president to really get concerned about the debt. They always, always do this. It’s like the tide.

opinion Its the spineless Senate and Democrat house that are the impediment. The WhiteHouse is willing and eager.

opinion Reining in federal spending?! Our national debt has increased dramatically because of them.
