The Walking Dead comic series has come to an end, but the rest of the world remains a mystery, allowing a spinoff the opportunity to explore the UK.

As AMC begins to develop its own live-action spinoffs for The Walking Dead on television, longtime fans have begun to wonder if the same may soon be in store for Robert Kirkman's original Walking Dead comic book series that ran from 2003 to 2019.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT A bulk of The Walking Dead's earliest issues occur within the outskirts of southern Georgia. Rick's survivors find themselves living on the road, constantly moving from new locale to new locale. It would not be until the midpoint of the series that Rick alongside his fellow survivors would relocate to Alexandria, Virginia.

As the enthusiastic zombie fan notes, a castle would be an ideal "anti-zombie stronghold" for survivors of a zombie apocalypse. A fortified castle makes the early days of Hershel's farm and the Prison look quaint in comparison. No longer would groups need to readily barricade against threats while constantly having to worry about a horde of zombies knocking down the walls.

Basing the action of a potential spinoff in the UK away from Rick's remaining group may be an adjustment for longtime fans of the series, but would only help to strengthen the eternal longevity of The Walking Dead legacy for years to come.

It's gonna flop. 💀 The original is The Omega Man with Charlton Heston in my opinion.

Rick's Walking Dead Show Can Reveal More Grimes ChildrenNew details about Rick Grimes' situation with the CRM mean that he could have had more children after his exit from The Walking Dead in season 9. Is it that you think he has more children or would like him to have more children which would indicate that the 'Rick and Michonne ' spin-off would be about Rick having another family? Considering DG is writing/producing seems odd she'd write herself out the show ridiculous I am trying to find the motivation behind this synopsis bc this type of speculation is bananas, but I'm sure the actress playing Michonne and writing the script will be sure to write her character as someone that wouldn't be so easily replaced to spite others wishing it to be so
