Police said witnesses reported seeing an argument between two people at a soccer field in the 3700 block of Roland Avenue around 10 p.m. Police said witnesses could not say what the argument was about. Witnesses told police they saw one person point a gun at the other and fire off a shot. The shooter then fled north on Roland Avenue, police said.The person who was shot was taken to the hospital where they later died, police said.
