I grew up in 80's, was taught racism was wrong, to love all people, n lived that way. But my brother was M. Jackson for halloween, n my mother put make up on his face to make the costume more real. Recognition of someones diff skin pigment/heritage doesnt mean u hate them.

How many of them are Black? How many Native Americans find it acceptable to wear 'Indian' costumes' How many Hispanics find it acceptable to wear vaquero/senorita costumes? How many Catholics find it acceptable to wear Jesus costumes?

growing up in the 60's 70's I knew it was wrong to wear it from my parents telling me. Don't recall my Philly public school ever teaching the racial component/history of its use. All comes down to what was taught at home back then.
