Officers got a call about a shooting outside of the bar. When they got there, they found a 46-year-old man near the back entrance of the bar with a gunshot wound to the head, police said.
EMS took the man to Cleveland Clinic Akron General where he was pronounced dead shortly after they arrived, police said. While police processed the scene they learned that a 37-year-old man took himself to a hospital after being shot several times during the incident. Police believe his injuries are non-life-threatening.Anyone with information is asked to call the Akron Police Department detective bureau at 330-375-2490 or 330-375-2Tip.
