LATstevelopez Nice article! Gold Rush towns were routinely leveled by fire. Californians survive & innovate. Disaster could inspire if fed. & state funding supported clean energy, water efficient, and location appropriate replacement housing, like the semi-subterranean Nisenan lodges.
