On the trail: Sanders, Buttigieg spar over money, message in New Hampshire

NASHUA/PLYMOUTH, N.H. - Democratic presidential candidates Bernie Sanders and Pete Buttigieg traded jabs over money and message on Sunday, two days before New Hampshire voters pick their choice to take on Republican President Donald Trump in November.

Buttigieg, who would be the nation’s first openly gay president, deflected attacks from his more well-known rivals as they jostled to dampen the momentum of a candidate who has surged in New Hampshire polls over the past few days. “I like his moderate political views and the fact that he’s trying to bring people together,” Sterner said while standing in line at Buttigieg’s Nashua rally. “I am concerned about his lack of experience. I do think that makes him vulnerable.”

Biden, who had fewer events scheduled Sunday than his rivals, conceded he was out-organized by Sanders and Buttigieg in Iowa. He reiterated his longstanding belief that he will perform better in states with a greater number of African Americans and other voters of color, including upcoming contests in Nevada and South Carolina.

The crowd laughed, but a video of the exchange began circulating on Twitter. Biden has used the line before, one he attributes to a John Wayne movie, “Hondo.” “I really like Warren,” said Straw, an occupational therapist. “However, Bernie’s going to offer me a lot more.”

None have anything new to throw at Trump more importantly, heck the Dems just tried to impeach him lol. What do any of them aim at Trump in the debates? Economy is fine, no wars started etc. Going to be tough.

Why can't your democrats pick anyone proper? I know for a fact there are solid people in the US. There should be better choices.

Biden, LOL. Get real. The only one that has even a remote chance is Bernie Sanders. That's not going to fly though. Sheldon Adelson, AIPAC, et al, already bought and paid for a full, eight year term for Trump. There is no way they'll switch it up now. No way.

I do wish they would stop talking about the other democrates that are running. Just focus on what you would do if you were elected President!
