Netflix has renewed its breakout comedy from co-creator Lauren Iungerich for a fourth and final season. The final round of 10 episodes will resume in early March. It's unclear if the final season will air this year or next.
Stars Sierra Capri, Jason Genao, Brett Gray, Diego Tinoco, Jessica Marie Garcia and Julio Macias will all return for the fourth season of the coming-of-age comedy set in an inner-city Los Angeles neighborhood. The renewal news comes after central stars Capri, Genao, Gray and Tinocoall, joined by Garcia, negotiatedthat included a potential fourth and fifth season. The decision to end the series comes as the five will see their per-episode fees jump from $200,000 for seasons one and two to $650,000 for season three. As part of the July 2019 renegotiation, the cast was poised to see their pay bump to $850,000 for season four, with a potential jump to $1.05 million should there have been a fifth cycle.
