Polls show health care is a top issue for Democratic voters in the primaries, and the candidates eagerly went back and forth at the DemDebate detailing potential costs and savings in their dueling policies

Mayor Michael Bloomberg struggled once again to put the issue of "stop-and-frisk" by the New York City police department under his leadership behind him in the Tuesday debate.

But he also defended his stewardship of New York City — saying that he made it a safer, better place during his time as mayor.His rivals pounced once again, with both Pete Buttigieg and Amy Klobuchar saying the program was racist.Bloomberg Hits Sanders Over Russiareport that U.S. officials briefed Bernie Sanders on Russian efforts to help his campaign.

On the debate stage Mr. Sanders reiterated that he rejected attempts by the Kremlin to meddle in the campaign and delivered a rebuke of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
