Kevin Stitt announced Wednesday that he has tested positive for coronavirus, becoming the first governor since the start of the pandemic to publicly announce a positive diagnosis.
"I got tested yesterday for Covid-19 and the results came back positive." Stitt told reporters. "I feel fine; I felt a little bit achy yesterday."Stitt's diagnosis came several weeks after President Donald Trump held a controversial campaign rally in Tulsa, which Stitt attended. "Going back and bunkering in place doesn't remove" the virus, Stitt said. He also resisted calls to back up Oklahoma's reopening plans. "It's way way premature to think of slowing down or backing up," he said.
Welp
LMFAO 😂💀
So what? theflu
No way, Trump has said that this virus is nothing. Why quarantine from this for, don't separate yourself from your love ones. This is the time that that the governor needs to talk to Trump up close and personal.
And I am 99.8% sure he will be fine
Weird that an arena (33% full maybe) of people without masks could spread Covid. I mean who could have ever imagined that.
Thoughts and prayers
Oklahoma, where the Covid comes sweepin' down the plain, And the wavin' folks can sure feel bad When the death comes right behind the pain. We know we’ll be sunk in the land And the land we’ll be sunk in is grand! We're only sayin' “wish I hadn’t tested positive in Oklahoma” 👍
Low IQ state will damage the country
Karma. She's got this.
