The Dallas Stars will host the Edmonton Oilers in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals on Thursday night.

Meanwhile, the Oilers ousted the Los Angeles Kings in five games and then rallied from a 3-2 deficit in their second-round series to defeat the Vancouver Canucks in seven games. Goals by Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Cody Ceci and Zach Hyman and 15 saves by Stuart Skinner were the difference in the 3-2 Game 7 win.

The Stars through the first two rounds of the postseason are 29-14-5 in home games while the Oilers so far are 25-20-2 on the road.
