Brent crude prices surged 20% before giving up some gains as the market took note of emergency reserves held globally

The price of Brent crude spiked 20% to a high of $71.

95 a barrel when Asian trading opened on Monday, which would have been the global benchmark’s biggest one day rise in more than 30 years. But by the U.S. morning, Brent had retreated to $65.75, a gain of 9.2%, as traders gauged how much extra inventory is available to meet the demands of the global economy.

After Donnie's strategic reserve release ...

The market didn't know that? How odd for an efficient market not to know or understand the concept of 'emergency reserves'.....casino

Very happy happy oil companies

What’s “emergency reserves” is that for the rich whites to populate a island in the pacific. What’s the emergency going to be? “We only have enough oil to build a city that allows white christian actors to live lavishly with only 1 Porsche allowed and woman no older than 16”

This is ALL a direct result of Trump’s asinine decision to unilaterally pull out of the Iran nuclear deal. Who likes war more than a failing American President? Especially one who's energy and foreign policies are expanding fossil fuel dependance and development.......

A rookie error.
