Ohio State is the New Betting Favorite to Win the National Championship

While the top three teams’ odds are nearly identical, there’s a steep drop after them, as Clemson’s fourth-best odds are 12/1. The Tigers are undefeated at 5-0 with wins over ranked opponents Wake Forest and NC State in its last two games. The Buckeyes and Wolverines are the only teams currently in the top six that will cross paths during the regular season, with Ohio State hosting Michigan on Nov. 26 at Ohio Stadium. If both teams continue winning until then, The Game could be the most important regular-season game in this year’s national championship chase.

Michigan will likely be the favorite after they beat Ohio State.

The Buckeyes would be better off if they can ignore the predictions and play each game. We could be in trouble if our offense hits a snag. The defense needs to keep improving for this to work. Focus on Sparty: Then Penn State and TUN. The Buckeyes are talented enough.
